1. Make an appointment. This is important because if you just arrive at the office and expect to be shown properties then you may be disappointed. Most owners require notification of a buyer arriving and if that has not been done, then there may be properties that you will not be able to view.
   I want to spend quality time with you and if you arrive without an appointment, I may be busy with another client and not able to help you.
   
   
2. Be punctual. Please respect the fact that I am offering my time for no cost. Please keep to the appointed times and if the wheels fall off, then call me and tell me you will be late. If you don't turn up for an appointment and you offer no excuses, then I will not be available to take you out again.
   
   
3. Give me feedback on the properties you have seen. Tell me what you like and what you don't like. Be truthful as what you say will guide me to properties that suit your purpose.
   
   
4. Buy within your means. Get your bank involved at an early stage. Know exactly how much you can afford to spend and don't try to buy something that you cannot afford. It's better to go up one step rather than try to climb the ladder two at a time.
   
   
5. Be upfront with your intentions. If you want to get the benefit of my experience, then you have to tell me your plans. It's called trust.
   
   
6. Read all my mail. You will receive information from me every two weeks on new properties for sale and market reports. Make sure you are fully informed.
   
   
7. If you decide to buy elswhere, or change your mind about buying, then let me know. I won't be upset if you tell me you no longer want to receive updates.
